I FOUND WHERE THE METAL CAME FROM...

One of the cam bearings is chewed up. Yechy. Of course, I only saw it after I fully disassembled the bottom end... No big deal though, the bearings should be swapped anyway.

Pics later -- gotta go to a car show with my 5 year old before he explodes.

Turbo specs found!! See: https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...=420677&page=4

Good news that. I'm not even going to step up the exhaust housing for now. If it's a problem I'll source new housings this winter and coat them then.

Now, back to your regularly schedule programs.

At least it is a John Deere... Looks like a LA series to me.. maybe a LA110, or 120?

So are you going to reuse any of these parts?
