Looks great! My buddy has a GT, still Ford foundation motorplant though, went a 10.40 on motor with a 408. 10.5:1 and drove it on the highway to the track. Ran a 9.17 on the bottle. We put a new 410 SBF in it, should run an 8.50 to 8.60 this year.
they are fun cars, some hate putting the LS motors in them, but to me, all is fair in drag racing.
Keep a pic log, would like to see this build.
Jeff on this site, put a 6.0 in my sons old '89 GT....so he's done this route as well.

I appreciate the feedback y'all. I cant wait to get it going. The previous owner said it's a wheelie machine lol... Goal is to run 9.90's on this setup and then hit it with 150 on a plate system.

That's great to hear. The guy I bought it from lived just outside of Bowling Green. He said the car just flat out works.
Yeah Eric, I'm going to get rid of the factory seats and install some Kirkey's.
