got the 40k and between running the mounts and my supercharger intercooler, it wouldn't work.
So i ordered a Mishimoto cooler that is bigger surface area but thinner and it mounts up to the stock lines exactly. Kinda wish i would have done that originally...but here we are. how to build some brackets to fit around the SC intercooler still, but didn't turn out bad. She seems to be running cooler, highest ive seen is 120F now after really spirited driving on a warmer day down the highway.
So i have a 40k and GAP kit i need to list for sale i guess now.
Also just removed that brake booster, absolutely zero change in the system other than a "Service brake booster" message at start up. Took the hood off, cleaned up some surface rust and put a new hood mat on from the supercharger belt ripping up the new one. Kinda think that was a waste but looks nice i suppose.
The search for some decent exhaust cut outs and wheels now starts, and i think upgrade the suspension and steering column, try to get this thing not driving like a 23 year old truck anymore.
