I have the whipple 2.9 kit installed on my 2018 GMC Sierra AT with the 6.2/8speed as well. My question to you would be what pulley you started with and what was your boost number at that time? I have the 4.125 pulley and I'm only seeing just over 4psi which seems amazingly low to me. I'm running Whipple's tune for now and according to them everything seems correct and that I can "drop a pulley size or two" but I want to make sure everything is spot on before doing that. Any suggestions?

You are leaving so much on the table with the whipple tune let alone the pulley my kit came with a 4.0,what you have sounds like for a 5.3

I am now running a 3.75 and hitting 7 lb. at 3500ft. Others have said they do 10lbs at sea level with headers running the 3.75

I suspected they sent the wrong pulley but I've also seen a 4.375" pulley in photos of whipple blown trucks. Im going to pull the blower back off and verify that there are no port leaks anywhere. When you data logged yours what is the max kpa reading your MAP sensor is picking up? Mine never goes above 118kpa regardless of the scanner is showing 3.6psi or 4.21psi. Doesn't make sense to me.

That must be the max the MAP sensor can read

1 bar sensor can't read boost properly, you'd need a real boost gauge to see it without a 2-3 bar MAP sensor. A custom tune would be needed to add that sensor.

Anyone have a good idea which MAP sensor to run that doesn't require rewiring or anything adapter harness? Ive heard the LT4 MAP isnt a direct plug in and that LS9 MAP is the way to go. Any recommendations?

Truck will never see the track so dyno numbers are all I have to go by: 522/545

Still trying to figure out Rims...not my truck so wife gets the final say😉...thinking matte black versions of the ones already on the truck, but need some higher speed rated tires.

Note: Last pic is stock photo representing what the truck looked like before.

What catch can kit is that? I am having trouble finding a kit for a 6.2 with a whipple. Thanks
