He had already ordered the pistons but might change the order. As soon as it gets Sonic tested he will know how big he can go and still leave it plenty strong enough and enough meat left to do a rebuild or two.

Talked to chuck @ FLT today and he said tranny should ship out next week, He said the level 5 4L80 takes a lot longer to build.
Bill, how did you get all the tranny fluid cleaned up

Yeah, I've been to the new shop. Trying to talk him in to giving me the office on the right, I've paid for it, lol. Nice big shop and another lift too.

I used CRC engine degreaser and carefully hosed it down, wiped it all off. It was a big mess but it cleaned up just fine.

Got the results back from the Sonic testing,
Rick is going to go 4.2 Bore and a 4" stroke, works out to be about a 445 cubic inches can you say Shazam!!!!!!!!!
