I just got back from a bike run up in the Sierras and have been offline since Thursday night. I was in Los Banos when I got a call from a mutual friend and heard the sad news.

Mark it is an honor to be considered your friend. You laugh at adversity and keep a smile when most men (myself included) would break down and just cry in anguish at the awful luck and hardships you have been thru in the last year.
All your hard work gone in front of your eyes yet you keep a positive attitude

I'm really sorry to hear this Your a trooper!!! Your already thinking like I would, about the next best thing Onward and forward!! No since dwelling on the past when your still have the future to look forward too!

 

that really does suck. i really liked to watch the build as it went on, at least now i have the magazine and a permanent picture of it. Im sure the next one will be much cooler.

So sorry to hear of the loss.

 

This was not an easy phone call to get from Mark. I was pretty much sick to my stomach as well. We and other friends have been talking with Mark this weekend making sure that if he needs anything, its done. We have been through so much on this build with him that we just got things going the right direction for him. I can tell you this though, we will all be right there to make sure his life gets right back on track so he can go back to loving what he loves best. Its amazing no one got hurt, and his house is not a total loss. We are all here for you Mark.

That sucks to hear. At least you and your family made it out, everything else can be replaced.

I think the guy probably didnt read about the fire and was being sarcastic knowing your truck was in truckin and saying he saw it.
