Looks like you may need to do a coil relocation and have the wires come up from the bottom.

How come no one has made wireless bluetooth sparkplugs yet???

Yup looks like relocation is your best bet.

Nice choice going boosted, welcome to the party

For the coil relocation would they be mounted to the block some how?

That would really change the look of the engine!

So I have the turbo mounted on a motor on the stand. Bracket was made from measurements taken from in the truck. Hopefully this weekend ill have time to try this placement in the truck.

currently going with the tubular manifold on the drivers side and a flipped truck manifold on the pass side. Ill need to vband it to make it work. I have two buddies who are decent welders tell me that its going to be a problem welding the cast but its my best option as of now.

Its been longer than I thought since I last updated this. I got everything done except for the Y pipe after the down pipe and some vacuum hose routing.

Truck started right up with the tune I made for it. Sounded pretty good!
Now I just need to finish things up to get it on the streets for some tuning.

Unfortunately It looks like snow is forecasted every day for the next week tho.

doing the same for my 5.3.... a little slower than you are doing your build though. if you dont mind, what is the distance from centerline of the motor to the outside of the turbo? mine will be in an S10. trying to figure out if i have the space.

one helluva build though.

Thanks man!

I have no clue about the requested measurement but I will get that to you for sure.
The location of the turbo was somewhat based on where the stock cast iron manifold would be easy to cut and weld a v band too. I think I have some pictures of the hot side on the stand.
