Arrow Kinda long, but need serious opinions... Hood/paint schemes

I have been thinking about this since I finished the HD hood for the truck, main reason it is still in primer .. I have seen a ton of trucks that are completely murdered out.. I like the way they look, but none the less they are all over the place, I try to be different with my things.. My thoughts is to either do the hood in satin, or do it in a satin, gloss mix.. The chrome around the corners of the grille shell are starting to fade, instead of buying a new one, I am thinking about painting it black like I orig had it.. Not sure if i want to do the shell in satin also or do it in gloss like the rest of the truck, or just do the center(leave the areas around the markers chrome) in either gloss or satin.. Give me some thoughts as to what you think would look decent.. Just to say the bumpers, handles will stay chrome..

I was thinking doing the center in satin, poss the area I have outlined in satin around that part of the grille also, leaving the sides in chrome.. Thoughts??

Or leave the hood in satin, do the complete grille shell in gloss/ or satin as well

Or just do the hood in gloss black, the grill shell in gloss black??

Or do the area inside the line I have drawn in satin, the outer in gloss along with the complete grille shell in gloss

Your last idea could be pretty cool with a real thin silver pinstripe to divide the satin and gloss or something similar. Just make sure that it follows the lines of the hood somehow, or it will look out of place.

I knew it was just a matter of time before you started hitting on me.....

Anyways, back on topic, I think it would look best if you simply paint the hood to match the rest of your truck. Any of the other ideas 2-toning the hood & front end would just end up looking trashy & cheap, IMHO.

That said, it doesn't really matter what I like or don't like. It's your truck. Why don't you just "represent" and put a big rainbow-flag on your hood?
