Default Kevhill85 2dr Tahoe porject ..

With he new frame the Tahoe body dropped 6 inch

My plans
1) 4link truck so I can keep back seat
2) install ls1 347 stroker / 4l60e
3) redone the to all black
4) remove all bags
5) make it more a prostreet truck
6) coil over the rear
7) install a 6lug 10bolt narrowed 3inch
8) whatever else I can think of
9) complete frame made of 2x4 1/4 wall . We added the rear clip to the new frame so I can still run a rear bumper .
10) set of 317 heads milled .040

Here where I am at on the motor rebuilded. For the stall I went with a revmaxx 2600 stall.. I figure use the lt 4l60e and a stall untill it blow and then go with a 4l80e

Today i mocked up the DRods fuel cell into my 2dr Tahoe .. I pick this cell from TxStVanWilder Friday and it fit great.. Here what left to do so the fuel cell fit the way I need to ..

Cut about 2 3/4 off the back side of the mounting tab
Add some rubber cushion between the frame and cell mounting tabs.. Should lowwer the cell about 3/4 of an inch

Ok finally had time to work on the Tahoe .

Cut the floor and made room for the drive shaft

Drilled and tapped the the head for a mech temp gauge.

You see in the next two photo how much the rear was narrowed .
