Are you going to use the MSD box for ignition, front mount distributor kit, or a modified pcm+harness?

well time to update a little bit...

the 305

here is a picture of the mess...

Being on the edge of streetable, engine was built to be a force. Somewhat of a mild build, but pretty damn sick to me.

I waited for this moment in time... Should be near 450hp once I get a updated fuel pump.

She's seated

Thats about all my progress so far. It came along ways from sitting in my backyard for about a year. Im starting to think what a lucky truck, as its about to be treated to everything. I have added a Holley highrise dual plane intake, with a Holley 750 carb as well. I have also a set of Longtube stainless steel headers.

I decided to go carb and stick with a gen 1 408 sbc. So I wont need none of that, but a new distributor would be nice.

ehhhemmm

OMG it fired up couple days, ago, its insane. But it managed to crack my starter smack into halves. So need a new starter, and someone to tune the holey 750, and exhaust shop to run a lil pipe.

ps tinted the driver door, trucks looks awesome. ill find more pics in a lil bit, if need be. but take a look at the passenger side.

ROFL, I need to look that up I take it. I wouldnt mind having the title, but my pockets are not long enuff. But this is going to be 1 bad mama jama.

I wish I did record the video when it started, but Ill get some video after the carb and exhaust gets dialed in.

and yes, she is going to stay this color. Flat Black

i have a grill off a older chevy dually, its going to be painted black as well, with the single square headlight, and smaller park on bottom. It will look great when its done, ill post pics as I progress.

Do remember its my project, so when time and money comes, i get to work on it. Getting closer though... lol

Trust me I know how it goes. I am about finishing up with my burban, still have the SSS to do, and I also have an 85 Monte Carlo impatiently waiting her turn. If only money came in as quick as it went out I think I'd be ok.

Yeah I use that one and the 800 Horse Suburban video as motivation sometimes.

The beauty of a "project" is that it's continuous. As resources flow, add...hopefully I'll be seeing you lined up with that red one one of these days...I'll be waiting.
