Tons of variables there... Brake surface area. How much fade from heat (not to mention the rear brakes aren't designed to stop the entire truck) frictional force between the pavement and tire etc... I'm not in any way pissed if that comment was directed at me, I'm honestly trying to provide some logic and a bit of numerical information that disproved your theory... The bottom line still remains, it isn't going to work like you "hope" it is... I do think it's quite comical that you still even argue this point.
I'm all for saving weight, back in my extended cab's skinny days it was sub 4000 pretty much daily, and going across certified scales it was still in the neighborhood of 2500/1500 front/rear. This was with a heavy *** trailer hitch that I doubt you will be carrying down the track. I'll be the first to say that on a choppy bump road it was a handful due to the light *** end combined with the stiff rear suspension. The rear wheels were on the pavement about half the time it seemed. Just sit and think about those two wheels being the only ones available for braking.
Your comment about being out to prove someone wrong by doing this is why is stated you'd be the type to rig results. Anyone who is this hell-bent on making something this dumb actually work (much less attempting it) will do a lot to say they had positive results in support of their theory. The list of your projects, the pics and self-defense of your projects and that statement make me believe this. I just call **** like I see it...

Rear is disk, tires are 28-11.5-16.
I have already explained that I will probably never take it to the track without front brakes at all.
This is my last post beating this to death. It truely is rediculous to keep posting the same few points back and forth.
