Ok guys i want to say im sorry ahead of time but this thread is going to get lengthy. As of right now im in iraq still but i will soon be coming home late july and im dying to get the new setup started but i need some help. As you can see in my sig i have an ls1 4l60e setup but soon will be changing everything up. Im calling hke tommorow about building me a 383 shortblock seeings how i have already purchased a set of 5.3 2.5 prc's from tsp. I need help with the intake setup. I want to run the new edelbrock proflow intake with a 4 barrel throttle body. What trottle body should i run? I plan on running two stages of nitrous and pushing this motor as hard as i can seeings how this is a temperary motor. I also have an 80e mapped out but i really want to run a transbrake but i want to see what suggestions you guys have about that, im a little concerned about the 4x4 components. Thanks and any thoughts are valued.

 

Are you dead set on the Edelbrock intake? Don't wanna run a LS6 style intake? The 4x4 components should be fine, ask Parish8. You'll need a beefier rear end though. Sounds like it'll be a killer project. Stay safe over there.

 

You can run a transbrake in a 4l80e but it ain't cheap.

 

i have a guy building it the same one that builds flacos trans and he said he can put one in for 750
