You know, I've read about this a couple of times on this site. I regularly peg my 120 odometer and around 105-110 I get that really bad vibration for a few seconds & then around 112 or so it smooths back out. I guess I shouldn't be doing this, what would happen if it broke.......it would probably be bad huh.

Not necesasry if it's a RCSB, past a certain length (with performance in mind) a two-piece is a must though.

Worst case scenerio and this isn't that unlikely as it's happened before, the DS would snap and flip your truck onto it's roof while your doing 100+ mph. Best case scenerio, it' snaps and takes out a few pieces of your underbody and you coast to a stop whithout any major damage. However when most let got they take out the engine, tranny and gas tank with them.
Just food for thought...(i.e. change it ASAP or don't drive as fast)

Mount an external camera on you hood and under your cab so we can see what happens when it finally lets go. Should be some nice vids...as long as you're not hurt!!

Damn, now yall got me worried, which I probably should be the way I drive! You know I kinda thought if the front snapped & went straight into the road & hit any kind of hole that the flipping situation could possible happen. I guess I should slow my *** down! But it would make for some good vids & still pics, you could see the OH **** look on my face as I'm going into the first flip, hell I got a seatbelt.....this could be fun!

All joking aside, I guess I need to take it easy. What's the fastest you would suggest?

How in the hell can it take out the motor? The motor is NOT directly connected to the driveshaft. And where the hell have you seen where a cheesy *** aluminum driveshaft can flip a 3 ton truck? The driveshaft is only held in by two little straps that would yield long before it even thought about raising the truck. In all my years on various automotive forums Ive never read of a vehicle being flipped bya broken driveshaft.

the truck wont flip, but a driveshaft would beat the ever living dog snot out of your undercarriage IE exhaust, gas tank, bottom of bed, and possibly bedsides. it can take out your transmission and your pinion in the rear end...
