Default finally boosted

well i finally got the truck tune for 7 psi. turbo install went well. had a feew things hold me up. AN fittins for oil feed kinda leaked at first, but is G2G now. i had the drain wrapped and hanging funny and oil was backing up in the turbo which cause a nasty smoke screen from my exhaust. re-routed the drain line, and now it drains properly and no longer smokes. driving around with out getting into boost was blue ***** on a crazy level. i had to drive to get exhaust welded up before we did the tune. truck feels so bad *** now, its such a big difference. i wish i would have started my mods with a turbo haha. im just so stoked to have it done.
i want to give a shout out to kyle at KB Racing, he helpped me get the right parts, he did an amazing job, the parts looks fantastic. his customer service is what set him apart from alot of ppl i have had to deal with! thanks Kyle.
ill have pix and videos up asap, i need some sleep, we finished oil drian and the tune last night, well this moring around 3 or 4 and then we had to go race my buddies 98 camaro that went 12.1 at 110. for a base tune on only 7 psi, first race we were dead even from 30, idk how i mangaged to not smoke off the tires, second race he had me by maybe a fender, (i spun from a 45 ) from a 50 i pulled him by almost a car.
good times, i love boost! i do belive im addicted now. thanks alot jake

Sweet. I'll be joining the club in a week or two. Just a matter of finding time. How long did it take you to get everything installed?

I took a couple days doing it. The exhuast was the easy part. Kyle had everything welded up perfect, so it was bolt on. Bit I had to fab up the cold side. Make brackets for intercooler, tranny cooler, coolant over flow tank. And then the oil drain and feed gave me some problems. But all in all it was a good time.

Was it his intercooler kit or did you make your own?

Why'd you have to move the overflow tank?
