as for update, its been slow, i dont wanna half *** the build, so more parts needed to be ordered, right now as i sit here im having trouble finding the correct lifters to handle the ramp rate of the cam and the lift, i ( we ) have talked to several performance companies to find out the ones i need are on back order, morel makes lifters for lunati, im going with the lunati link bar lifters, the rpms im looking at are some what high but not outta site so i changed the whole top valvetrain to compensate for the rpm level, only other thing that i dont like but cant really afford right now is the rockers, i went ahead and done the trunion upgrade for the stockers until i can afford some 1500.00 jesels which will handle 10k rpms without issues, so that said im just waiting on my backorder of damn lifters

We will be at SAR, but without the trucks. We need to start making all motor shake downs at Evadale whenever. You get off those 12s... I've got a line on another 9" too I've been working on for you. I'm ready to start dialing that suspension and seeing daylight under that front end...

 

Cool update Skeet. Is anyone taking anything decent to SAR? If so, sounds like its gonna be pretty weak this year.

hopefully soon, i missed some damn good weather this year and could have shoot'n myself in the foot by not putting the short block back in BUT i wanted more head work done never realized it would take this long also, but the parts i want arent cheap. thanks let me know if you come up with anything, kinda putting some cash together for a th400, as i feel the trans is gonna be the first to let go. we have alot of work coming hopefully soon



im sure there gonna be some heavy hitters since dodge and ford are invited to the ls1truck shootout, i dont blame allen for opening it up to all trucks, id get tired of toting the bill for the track and all also i'm sure it'll be a great turn out either way..
