Just making sure. I have dual gold .660 springs. Wanted to make sure they are not overkill. I wasn't trying to cut corners. Aklowrider said some comp 918 would be fine. Those i believe are .600 too. That is why i was looking for some more opinions.

Settle down mangled. I appreciate your help so far! You can't tell me there are plenty of situations that a .002 variance in specs is no cause for concern. I also didn't know if there was a .610 spring or if the jump was .6 to .66.

Yeh, because I always have such "glowing" things to say about Comp products, especially their shitty 918 valve springs.......

Have you been paying any attention AT ALL during your 4 years & 3700+ posts here on PT???

FYI I wouldnt use a set of Comp 918 springs on a .550 lift cam if you gave them to me.

I'm sorry but it's hard not to laugh here .

C'mon custom you know your gonna get your ***** busted for some of these " questions " your asking .

I saw in one of your threads you have a set of heads with .660 lift rated valve springs , why are you not using them ?

Don't try to be cheap and just get by , take your time , save up your cash , then get a nice set of quality parts to install in your new ride , untill then leave it alone and enjoy it .

Not a matter of cheaping out. I have heard many guys talking about having too much valve spring for a cam also. I was curious if I was in that boat with the .660 springs. Sounds like I have everything needed as long as my hardened 7.4 pushrods are proper length.

Once the girlfriend's Toyota comes back from the tranny shop I will be swapping cams.
