Thanks, it is nice to get the compliment.
I realize this isn't anything compared to what most guys do on here, but this isn't a performance build.
This is a small budget build to make a good solid work truck. I say this, because I keep having to remind myself of this.
A drive around town got a surprising amount of attention, many compliments on the color. You can't tell, but I had the color of the paint modified slightly, and it really looks great in the sun light. I had him make it a shade darker and add more metallic. The stock color turned a bit purple in certain light, not any longer. I can't wait to get the company LOGO on the side of this thing and see if it brings in the business I hope for.

Yea, I've noticed your rides, and I like how you make the best of what you've got
You may not have a fleet of full out race trucks, but you've got some nice rides that you should be proud of

For me it is about the hobby and the stress reliever. It has never been about the status or approval, LOL.

The guy just came out to pickup the shortbed. He saw the wheels I purchased for the suburban sitting in the carport. After some discussion, he took them home with him. I am back in the market for some wheels it seems.

I just ordered some stainless steel shorty headers and a Magnaflow Y-pipe with convertor. I know I wont see any REAL gains with shorties, but they are primarily a replacement for the damaged manifolds.

I'll bet that you see bigger gains on a sbc than we do on our GENIII's
