Got the rollpan painted tonight. Plan was to get everything painted this weekend, i.e. roll pan, mirrors, grill, bumper, and bowtie. BUT, that went to **** quick! Started sanding the bowtie last night to get it ready for the Hugger Orange, and the damn thing broke!

Woke up this morning and decided I would just get everything else done. Well, got the bumper cap off, sanded, primed it, and it accurred to me that I didn't put the catalyst in it! Took the primer completely back off to the black plastic, and decided to put it to the side.

Anyways, here's the rollpan. Not to bad for my first base/clear coat with an HVLP gun, and first job with the gun. Still need to play with it more as I think I can make it spray a little smoother. Practice, practice, practice!

Just curious did your painter just paint right over the door handles and covers or did he have to sand them down at all or what? just wondering because i'm going to get my truck painted in the near future.. thanks

He painted right over them, but sanded first
