What all did you end up doing to it? If you don't mind me asking? I've spent tons of time dialing mine in and now I'm afraid for it. Lol

Mainly just stock rebuild. Mine is an 08 so he updated stuff that changed in 09+ 6l80e. Updated stator, tcm, and pistons. Welded shafts and more clutches.

After install, tune needed a few adjustments bc of surging when shifting into gear (felt as if it was under a major load and sometimes died) and also hard 3-2 and 2-1 downshift sometimes. After having the tune tweaked, it feels and drives great! Pulls like crazy and converter is awesome.

Been working on my house I'm in the middle of buying and probably won't be touching the truck for a while. Drivetrain feels solid and all I really need to do it install my trucool 40k before the weather starts warming up (haven't had time yet. Here's a pic in it's current state.

Looks strong...any plans to hit up the strip and see how much you have improved since the 12.98 run?

Yes, I will eventually go again but would like to have traction bars and tires this go around. Et calculator says I'd be around 11.9 now. I'd love to dip into the 11s but definitely not a track truck, just want bragging rights lol
