Parts to fix the front shock issue should be here tomorrow. New tires should here on Friday. I'm gonna try the Goodyear 29x19x15 slick. Here is a comparison between that tire and the one I have on it. Info from their respective websites.

M/T ET Drag: 29.5x10.5x15
Tread Width: 10.2
Section Width: 13.1
Diameter: 29.9
Circumference: 94
Weight: 25

Goodyear: 29x10x15
Tread Width: 10.0
Section Width: 11.8
Diameter: 29.0
Circumference: 91
Weight: 23

I figure this tire will give me enough clearance and still give me the height I want for the 4.56's.

hey Blown06 im doing the 5 lug conversion also, and i called moser to get a price quote for the labor re-drilling but they told me they only do the rear axels not the front hubs. So i told them moser did them for you and they said they havent done that for over 2yrs. and i insist they did them for you and so they asked me for your invoice number... is there any way you can get me your invoice # so i can give them so they can look up. thanks...

I see a few solutions to your delema. I think the easiest would be for you to take the leafs out, and grind the bushing/metal sleeve down on the inside of the springs. Leave a little bit left though, but there should be enough there for you to move the springs in quite a bit. Then just put a washer on the other side to make up the difference. Not ideal, but it may work.

Also, you could just ditch the leafs all together. I see your rear shocks are setup well and could accept coilovers pretty easily. Put coilovers on and fab a control arm or link that goes from the leaf mount to the axle. The link will be a lot more narrow that the 2.5" leaf. You have a nice torque arm on there, so you might as well take full advantage of it. You'll need a panhard, watts or drag link but you'll be able to fit more meat in there.

For the front brakes, if it makes you that nervous, put 99-04 brakes on it. They're smaller than the 05-up brakes.

I look and see if I still have the invoice when I get back from work on Friday, but they told me the exact same thing. I called got a quote and they acted like it was no problem. Sent them my stuff and some dude from the shop called me and said they can't do it. I told him that they had done others and he acted like he didn't know anything about it. So he had me call back the next day and talk to Mike. Mike is the shop foreman at Moser. He'll get you hooked up.

Thanks for the info. I'm gonna take a look into that leafspring bushing suggestion. Depending how that might work and also how the new Goodyears look/fit, we'll see what happens.

Can anyone make a recommendation on a minimum clearance between the tire and leaf?

Do the 99-04 calipers bolt right up to the 05+ brackets?

Your truck looks bad ***. I can't wait to do that type of set up if I get a re-enlistment bonus.
