Default Big goals in such short time :)

So as you can see ive been lurking on the forum for a while but never really post. Well i finally got another 2007 classic crew cab 1500 and this one is going to get done right. Basically i got it about 4 months ago but its just been parked mostly. I started buying parts about 2 weeks ago and now i have quiet a collection to do a turbo setup. I was going to go with a sts setup but now i kinda want to do a front mount even tho i already have everything for the sts setup. So basically all i need is the fuel system, tune, and trans but i am aiming for a very high hp number and im about to order a 2/3, 4/6 or a 5/7 drop, i just cant make up my mind. Also going to order the rear sway bar setup here soon. I dont have many pics of my truck but the absolute first thing i did was take off the ugly side moldings, blacked out my tail lights, did the airbox mod (since it wont be on long) and also took out the muffler and welded in a straight pipe in its place. the turbo i have right now is only capable of supporting 600 so basically im going to sell this one and try to get something larger like a PT88 i will also be purchasing a nitrous setup soon most likely since i am running a 4.8 trying to spool a pt88. I am always trying to sell the stuff i have but if it doesnt sell i will just use it. I am also going to experiment with 317 heads on the 4.8 for low compression to run a ton of boost. I ordered a LS9 factory cam today and i am going to order some springs/retainers/pushrods here soon. I cant decide if i want to try to go with this high HP goal either because it needs to be streetable (but you can do that with any hp ) or just stick around 600-800. Either way i dont like doing things twice so whatever i decide ill probably just have to be happy with it and the PT88 is enough to support future goals if i decide to go higher. I also cant decide if i want to keep the drums in the back or do disc since i want to run 15's with slicks on the back. Oh i also have an appointment to get my windows tinted tomorrow I also bought a low profiles crossmember for my drop from a fellow pt guy and a G80 for now. (still waiting for those to arrive)

Here is a couple of pics (yes all the parts are in my room since i dont currently have a garage anymore :\) the big black box is also full of interooler piping, and the sts hot pipe is under my bed lol.

here is the link to stuff for sale

gonna be good stuff...

...do a 2/3 drop... 4/6 requires notching the frame on this truck... and 5/7 is just too much for the performance potential

I would sell that pt88 and get a better turbo. You will hate it. Takes forever to spool and when it does its not very smooth.

I really like my bw s400sx3...I think the 76mm would be awesome on a 4.8 and take you to 700-800 rwhp all day.

whats the reliability of this turbo? Seems a little on the cheap side imo. So thats more of my concern otherwise if its nothing but good then ill order it.

With any turbo, as long as its getting oil and a proper drain and doesnt injest a wrench and has a bov in front it, it should last longer than the engine if its the proper size for it. Give Reed at work turbochargers a call and tell him your goals and he will get you set up with what you need. Tell him Richard told you to call.
