Well as you guys often know once the ball is rolling it is hard to stop it! My bowtie has been getting uglier every time I wash the truck. if it was more often the bowtie would have lost all of it's gold probably. Anyhow since I have the rest of the can of plati dip why not work some more on the black and pewter theme!

And the final product. Thanks to awesome plasi dip I didn't feel the need for major taping. The bit of over spray wiped right off without issue.

Looks much better in IMO.

I got the black billet one for mine since it was damaged in a wreck any way.

I am thinking about a stripe. Not sure what I will do yet but I think a stripe is coming very soon.

Think the width of the bowtie right down the middle? I wouldn't "stripe" the center bar to keep the black, pewter contrast for the bowtie.

Does that make sense and do you think it will look good?

I wouldn't stripe the center of the grill anyway.

I am not sure about the stripe. I kinda want to keep a somewhat low profile because down the road I will put some boost to this beast. Right now it is slow like an import so I don't want to go too aggressive with "race" inspired look. When it becomes quick I would rather still keep a lower profile to somewhat maintain a sleeper.

I think for now I am going to black the brake ducts and call it good. I will help some more with the color scheme and not go too far over the top with a racing stripe.
