Came time to change out the rear brakes to make room for some 15 in wheels. I planned on running a drag radial in the rear, wanted to go with at 295/65/15. So I got a set of 1320 wheels rear brackets, ordered calipers pads and rotors from power stop. Then added a line lock to the rears Installed it backwards. So when you turn it on I blocks pressure from going to the rear brakes.

The rear wheels were ordered from summit racing. I was going to order cragars soft 8s, but found out that cragar is no longer making wheels in a custom backspacing. So I contacted U.S. Wheel ordered a pair of stealth crawler wheels. 15x10 6x5.5 bolt circle on a 6.5 in backspacing. 2 wheels shipped to my door for under 200$. Only drawback is they came raw, no paint or powercoat. I had a pair of stock 17 to run in the front. All the wheels are steel and a bit heavy, but this isn't a full blown race truck so the weight didn't bother me much. The 20s on the truck were heavy too. I had all the wheels painted silver.

Thanks for feedback on exhaust, sounds like I need to go that direction with mine.

The wheels are fairly close to matching even.

No problem. I know a lot of people prefer an x-pipe over an h-pipe, but I prefer the sound of an h-pipe. As for the wheels, they match close enough for me. I think when they are on the truck with the center caps I wont be too noticeable. At least I hope.

Next thing to change was the rear gear. Truck came with the G80 and some 3.42 gears. I wasn't having any issues with the rear, but from what Ive read it was just a matter of time. I went with 4.11 gears and a Yukon Dura Grip posi unit. Rebuilt the whole rear end all new bearings and seals. Also put on a new rear cover. Wanted to go with an aluminum one, but it would not work due to the panhard bar mount.

I finally had enough money and time to make a complete suspension upgrade. I had already done the 4 link in the rear but the springs were a bit stiff, so I needed to change spring rate. Also got some ridetrech strong arms for the front so I could run coilovers. Added a sway bar to the back too.
