Default another S10 build? 6.0 with a hairdryer :)

i picked this up last saturday, a good friend pretty much gave it to me, he was gonna junk it, just glad i showed up at the right place at the right time, but anyway its nothing special, it'll just be a stock 6.0 pushing some boost

i already have a low mile 6.0 lq4 so basically i just need to install the motor, get the parts i need for the instalation, get rear end get trans get her running the customize a snail for it


should be a nice little street truck with alittle boost, what ya think?

WHy was he gonna scrap it..Truck does'nt look bad at all..Would be a fun toy.

friend of mine bought it for his son, then blew the 4 cylinder, he was tired of seeing it in his yard, i went and visited and we were talking about it, he called his son and he said he didnt care what he done with it, sooooo it got towed

yes with a 4l60e! you know what years to look for? i got alot of info. here lately but didnt notice a year for the rearend?

probably a PT88

the only thing that will be worked is the heads, the 317s everything else will stay in tack. nothing on the assembly will be opened up, this motor has less 7k miles

Its been a long time since I was in the market for a 8.8 Explorer piece, but I remember it being a long span of years. Seems like 92-99 or something. I think the older ones were drum brakes, newer being discs.

One of my favorite things about those rears is the fact they have a metal tag attached to the brake line with the rear gear and if its a locker or not. No glove box BS or RPO codes, lol.

It was two body styles, the 92-95 ones with square headlights and square everything, and the body style after that, 96-2000?
