Sick truck I want that truck for my twin turbo forged Ls9 cam 5.3 gen 4 motor in my garage lol I got a ls6 cam and 243 heads in my 08 5.3. I call it the gen4 ls6 just little smaller displacement every part came out of a z06. Got the cam cheap but decent cam in the 2500 up Works great with 3k stall. Good luck on build

update finally!

so i have not done anything to the truck in a while, got tired of trip over parts boxes so loaded all my lowering parts took it to a friends house and installed it all. way lower then i wanted need to raise it up some but for being slammed ride is not bad

QA! ds301 with atomic brackets
DJM 4" LCA's
DJM flip and lowering shackles set to 1" drop
C notch
VA specialties shock
QA1 TS504 in the rear

after 80 miles things settled and this is how it sits 14 3/8" center hub to fender front and 14 1/2" rear

put stock shackles in the back raised it up an 1" and adjusted the coilovers got the front level, the back is about 1/2" off one side is lower not sure how to get it level?

swapping the shackles not only raised it but improved the ride quality a lot, for being this low on a 245/45/20 ride is nice!

Pass side the lower side?

Put a 1” lift shackle on it.

When I ordered rear shocks I got the coilovers. I don't plan on running them with springs but I have the option.
I bought a set of 100 lb springs in case I need to fine tune level and ride height out back.
