Both of them are beautiful! Wish I had my 05,06,07 back. I'd be happy with any of them.

i got me engine back from the machine shop so started to go over the head bolt holes to clean them, hope to have the crank rods and pistons my monday
next i need to find the time to get the heads and cam out of my zo6, have to pull the steering rack to get the crank pulled off not looking forward to that
this is going so slow i think a turtle can pass me up
some pics
this thing was rusty he got it really clean
one cylinder has this mark but it cant be felt even dragging a pin across it

I was thinking about other cam but my old 4l80e dont seam happy these days so being i have the ported 2.5 prc 243's already and the btr cam on hand thats what im going to use should put me right at 10.5 CR, that combo make some strong power in my ls6 475/415 n/a in front of a manual trans if i can get around 400/380 id be happy with it for now, i have "turbo build" yelling at me from that little voice in my head seams it just wont shut up lol but have to focus on my car once this engine is in and that all together

Those 243's will be great on there, power down low will be needed for heavy wheels.
