Hello all.
the parts fairy (ups/fed ex) have brought me some presents that the financial oversight being(wife) approved the purchase of.
All of this is planned to be installed this month.
2/4 spring and shackle lowering kit.
cab corners and rocker panels.
found a rust free bed some dents but easy to fix.
ebay long tube headers with ory.
cold(ish) air intake.
that should keep me busy for a bit.
future plans include a cam upgrade for the 4.8
The truck is a 99 rclb 4.8 4l60e
dont really plan on a show truck or a track truck but a quick street truck.
I am thinking about a cam such as the texas speed 220 kit with 214 lsa.
and a 32-3400 stall converter behind it.
tune as well.
corvette servo and hd2 shift kit for trans.
4.10 gears out back.
what do you guys and gals think about the plan so far?

 

Sounds like a good plan. Don't forget fuel upgrades, especially it being a 99.

 

Good call, i almost forgot about 99 injectors. Fuel pump upgrade is planned as well.

E- fan is installed. Headers and 2/4 drop should be as well by next week. Slow but steady progress. Every little bit makes it that much more fun to drive.
