Lol ya I broke more than I thought. Everything is ordered and block is getting cleaned up. Hopefully have her back together soon. Roger has been a great help to get this back together as cheap as we can.
I will never go this crazy with a daily driver again, at least not one that started out costing 40k+ lol
Looking forward to the next project once this is sold. Will miss the truck though.

Stole this yesterday from my father to run a few things around town though. Pulled off to make a phone call (top was off) and snapped this picture.

The sad thing.. I never thought I would say a Corvette is slow......ish.
Car is a blast to drive, and still gets up and goes. But I did a couple WOT pulls from 2nd gear and it just made me miss my truck and boost all that much more. LOL
Told my dad his car was slow and he kicked back without missing a beat "well it's faster than your truck right now"

touché I'd say.. Just be thankful your dad has cars you WANT to buy from him.. My parents all they had was station wagons.. I mean the Clark Griswald "Family Truckster" kind of station wagons.. Ugh, I don't know where the passion for cars came from in my family but it certainly wasn't from anyone I am aware of !!

LOL My dad has never been into drag racing but he has always liked nice cars and had some pretty nice ones in the past.
The Vette fascination started when I still lived at home years ago. Started with an 80 (still have) then a 2000 (sold) and then 2004
