Those are the wheels I run too. FYI I use this to clean em.
Holikme 4Pack Drill Brush Power Scrubber Cleaning Brush Extended Long Attachment Set All Purpose Drill Scrub Brushes Kit for Grout, Floor, Tub, Shower, Tile, Bathroom and Kitchen Surface,Yellow (amazon.com) Holikme 4Pack Drill Brush Power Scrubber Cleaning Brush Extended Long Attachment Set All Purpose Drill Scrub Brushes Kit for Grout, Floor, Tub, Shower, Tile, Bathroom and Kitchen Surface,Yellow (amazon.com)
(not this one. Mine's just 3 brushes. Probably $5).

You can find these all over the place for under $10, and maybe as low as $5.

Before I wash, I spend a few minutes per wheel with just soapy water, and a cordless drill.
The smallest brush is perfect for the bolt holes.
The round brush gets the lip, and both big and small holes.
The flat brush works on the face.
I have a toilet bowl brush for touch ups by hand, (but I never need it).

I wouldn't consider a vette filter better.

Did you edit your original post from better to vette? I swear I had read better lol if not disregard.

Got the drag pack in for this thing, also currently working on installing the caltracs. Next up is the rear getting done.
