I am excited to see these swaps since I have a Tahoe that my plans were to sell after I got it on trade but my wife and I have grown fond of it. So I am seriously considering a LS swap so detail as much as possible please.

Update:

Been working on putting the rattle trap in the whole interior the last few days. I done two layers on the back of the cab and the floor board.I've got it pretty much done just a few small areas left to do.

I planned to pressure wash the carpet but I'm afraid it wouldn't dry real good this time of year. I'll just spot clean it real good a few times while its out of the truck.

Update:

Got the interior put back together it just needs a real good cleaning. Also pre-wired for all my stereo equipment.

I'm running a chevy grill for awhile since I hit a deer last month. Hood looks terrible I know

Here's the 3'' in/out magnaflow I'm running on the 6L.

I like the dash! How did you pull the interior plastics out from behind the seats and B pillars with out breaking them? I tried to pull mine and a few clips broke and stuck in the sheetmetal.

It took some time to get it all out but I still broke 1 clip myself.

Dropped the truck off several weeks ago to have the swap done. I really wanted to do it myself but I wasn't willing to wait several years.

Had to end up giving the LQ9 a refresh since it had water in the cylinders. I believe it's going to put out some good power. Here's a list of some of the goodies.

05' LQ9
ARP rod,cam and head bolts
Clevite main bearings
Comp cam (not giving specs just yet but it's pretty big)
Hardned push rods
LS7 lifters
Ported/Polished,milled 317's
Dual valve springs with titanium retainers
LS2 timing chain
High volume oil pump
TBSS intake
8.1 marine injectors

I'm sure I've missed lots of stuff but this is what I could think of right now.
