80e swap aftermath

Default 80e swap aftermath

i swap the tranny in. it sat for 5 days waiting on computer come back from blackbear. i hook it up. start it and right off the bat my tran gauge reads 2 notches above 100. everytime i start it it does this.

does the sensor inside the 80e read different then the 65e did or something?

Cant tell ya that, I dont have a in dash gauge, I have a manual autometer

Where's the manual hook up at your trans?

I got mine hooked up in the pressure port. I read FLT said take that number and subtract 10F to get a close temp reading.

I did the speed sensor then switch brown with white and left white out. Everything else fine besides gauge not reading right and converter not locking

Have you looked at replacing the tcc solenoid?
