8.0 into a 1/2 ton project

Thats the beauty of the swap, all plug and play. Just plug the V10 speedo cluster in and it was just like Ma Mopar did it herself. The V6/V8 and V10 use different tach signals, otherwise I wouldn't have even had to do that. Everything is pretty much exactly how the factory did it.

Awesome. I had a 1994 Caprice which I cut and put in a Z/28 cluster with tach. All I had to do was run a wire for the tach, and it was all good. Cool man, I look forward to the rollin' videos!

I haven't had much time to work on the tune because we have been in the process of sellin our house (more like give away, but thats another subject) and we bought a house in S la. we move out there the end of the month, but I did drop the truck off at the body shop the other day so I'll have some cosmetically finished pics soon. Once I get out to La, I want to work on the rear suspension/gears/locker diff.

I'll have to try and get my wife to get some vid footage of it soon, I only been here since march 1st and have no clue where the closest track to me is (jeanerette La)? Bein a modified dodge, of course the tune still needs a little work, but it runs pretty strong as it sits now. Traction of course is the limitin factor and until I get a locker, gears, cal-tracs and some stickies I'm sure track times would be a huge let down. It pulls like a mfkn freight train though

LOL, problem is I don't have this setup in a single cab. Guarantee I tip the scale at 6500 Lbs, with all the added weight. I will build an S10 to have my thrills. Until then, I live vicariously through fast vehicles around me!
