Solid motor mounts really isn't a big deal. You'll hardly notice any extra vibration.

A word of caution though.....if you do decide to go solid motor mounts, whatever else you do, make sure you still use a rubber rear trans mount. Some use a poly mount, but I highly advise against it. Rubber only!

To stop the engine from moving under load. With worn out mounts the movement can be several inches as it tries to rotate.

There is also fore and aft movement as well, hence the need for limiters when doing a motor plate/mid plate set up.

Manifold update

Sent it to kyle for a new flange, luckily hes a great guy and deals with me wrecking his work... he had to cut the manifold in half to relieve the stress in it, whoops...

Right now its a ceramic coating shop so I never have to deal with header wrap again, and for $100 I was stupid not to do it before

Next friday is Diesel night a NED and I was hoping to run but time will tell if the truck will be together or not. I got some 305/65/18s on it now so hopefully I can launch better in 2wd and hopefully the bigger rubber wont kill my top end too much

I'll be up there this Sunday morning and I'm staying as far away as I can from diesel night. It's such a shitshow...
