Here it is with the drivetrain sittin in it for a test fit.

It fits way better than i was expecting, and the ls1 S10 swap headers fit like a charm..

Tonight im pulling the stock Sami springs/axles out and start on the Jeep YJ spring brackets and trim the rest of the stock brackets off the frame.

Using a 97 Sidekick Fuel tank since its 12 gallon and had a electric fuel pump and bucket, Putting a Walbro in it.

should make for a pretty mean lil mudder. I used to have a 86 samie with 4 to 1 crawler case, 1.6L swap, 4in springs (I think OME springs) and some 31s. Used to piss people off when I could climb anything and go places thiers wouldnt fit.

Gonna run the airfilter in the cab so it wont get wet and dirty from riding in the creek and mud.

Yea i figured i would put the drivetrain in at an angle, ya know, to be different haha..

Took the sami axles and springs out, put the toyota axles and YJ springs under it last night.

Notorious for rolling over when parking lot maneuvers were attempted at highway speeds.

You don't typicaly build a sami to drive on the road. I am sure the toy axles will be wider. I personaly don't like samis at all but with a ls anything becomes kinda cool!

Here is some insperation. Had a SBC on a blazer frame. It was kick ass.

This is cool and should go through just about anything you point it at. Good luck on you build. Have fun.

Im actually building it to drive. Weather it be to town or across town to the mud bogs. And all summer we ride the creek which every year there is always something different and i think i win that title :D
kinda excited to see how she is gonna do on gas. 4.10s with 33s and 4l60e, not gonna weigh much at all so im hoping for 25+ cruising. I dont plan on goin fast in it so 55 it should be fun.
Gonna paint it flat black and do a roll cage so a soft top fits it. Im selling my s10 and my 4 wheeler so its gonna take their place and yea ill take it to the short 500' track to work on the tune.
