2013 6.2 silvy aka wookiemax 3.0
#1
Hey guys. Kinda new here on this forum. I'm over on gmfs a lot and figured I'd come over here since I'm back in a gas truck. I've had 2 duramaxs before I switched back to gas. a LBZ and a LMM for the last 5 years now and loved them, but decided to go back to gas.
Found this 6.2 LTZ silverado down in texas untouched pretty much. Low miles, body is clean and straight, no rip or tears in the seats, and motor looks extremely clean.
Only thing it had down when I picked it up was Borla exhaust with stock piping and exit, a coil spacer? makes it sit leveled almost, AFE dry filter intate and a 87 Diablo tune on it.
Brought it to oklahoma and the first few days I went ahead and tinted it.
So far plans are as followed.
Getting a chevy lml HD clip this month with the appearance package parts
Retune
Finish demolding and remove rear bowtie
Cut and polish
maybe a corsa or aero exhaust with new piping
clear heads
5k hids with retrofit
5k switchbacks
fender mod to run stock 20s and 33s
new shocks (probably blistein)
new ucas
sound system
I have no idea what route to go when I decide to throw some go fast goodies. So hoping to gain some knowledge here more about this 6.2 motor. I know it doesn't have the afm but is there anything I need to do or know about this motor to get the best outta it and to keep it up to shape?
