From a roll the same but not quite as bad. The third time it was really a lot closer. Those three races were pretty much back to back to back with little to no wait time. After the third by chime went off saying transmission hot let idle. Was at 260! Let it sit and cooled off only to 210. Drove 7 miles in 60 degree weather and got it back to
260 on a very gentle 55mph drive. Let it sit again and took it home and now letting it sit overnight. Pretty sure it got heat soaked really bad. My IAT's on the run were almost 185 with engine temp at 194. Everything was getting hot. Should of let it sit between to cool off. Kinda a little sick to my stomach at the moment. Trans was shifting really hard on the way home at light throttle. I'm sure the line pressure is maxed because of temperature. Kinda sounds like I blew an exhaust gasket out as well as it sounded like I have an exhaust leak. What's the chances this transmission isn't smoked?? Really need some good news.......
Thats HOT, did you smell the fluid? Did you notice it slipping at all? Yes at those temps the line pressure should be pretty high. I would venture to guess its slipping if it got that hot that fast.

Didn't notice it slipping. Fluid smells burnt but not too bad.

Talked with Greg at Phoenix Transmissions and he said it's all covered under the warranty. He even said shipping to and from is covered. That's one hell of a warranty!

That much heat would put you in the hot tables in the transmission tune
