Default 2006 RCBS "shop truck"

I've wanted a "shop truck" for a while now.
Just found a MINT truck near by with 26k miles!

Plan is low and slow.
Truck has a V6 and 5-Speed

Want a 5/7 drop, working out what parts to order now.
Picked up some 22" transport steel wheels, unsure what size tire to run yet.

I'm sure my questions and searching is stamdard "newbie"
Hoping to learn a bit, and have a bunch of fun.

Thoughts?
Advice?

Depends on your definition of "slow". I would recommend a v8 swap with a 6 speed transmission. Maybe a turbo if you're feeling frisky.

I might at some point.
For my needs I just want something to run around in.
Will be using it to haul my vintage motorcycles around.

Looks clean, maybe put HIDs in and wait for the gauges to go crazy. Those two things are not related in any way. I've had to replace all my gauge motors.

Might do the headlights.
I know the gauge motors are an issue. Lucky everything works as it should....right now....

The fenders are rolled on the bed and they never rubbed. The front rubbed a little on dips in the road. They are sold and were replaced with 18" Eagle 219s

My SS lowered 6/8 on 285/35/22 Sumitomos, 22x10 SS reps (air shocks at 150 psi)
The front rubs at full lock on the inner fender on the passenger side. The bed also hits on the 14 bolt rear diff so I have a bit of rake (which I HATE)

I sold this one in 2009 but it was a 3/5 drop on 22x9 KMC SS with a 285/35/22 Nittos
Didnt rub at all and was about to be lowered 5/7 when I was offered decent money for it.

So the issues with rubbing is more inner fender well then the actual fender?
I can deal with a slight rub, just can't deal with damaging paint or the fenders.

i saw that one or two guys in that thread mentioned rolling the outer fenders a little.
when i put my 33s on, i had to loosen the front bumper & pull it out a tad to keep from cutting the air dam. a little minor body tweaking ain't that hard on these trucks.

Beltech 5/7 drop ordered. Trying to find a beltech helper bag kit (5008) in stock some where. Seems beltech is no longer making them. Worst case I will use another brand helper bags with that company's notch. Goal is to do as little fab as possible. I see no reason to when there are so many bolt together options.

Picked up a CHEAP set of transport wheels.
90% sure I need 265/35-22 tires to clear....

What are my options to add a limited slip or locker to the rear?

Am I better off swapping the whole rear, or just buying parts?
