Default 2004 Silverado RCSB build...

I sold my '03 Ford Lightning DSG w/ full mods two months ago. I bought 2004 Silverado RCSB last month(Dec. 2010) ago-56K miles, Very clean and no dent, scratch. 5.3. 3.42-Volant CAI, Hooker header LT, Corsa muffler w/4" Stainless Tips, Rear Shackle, American Racing rims 20' and Falken Ziex, I forget something more lists on truck. This truck is for my project for build 6.0 370, 80E tranny and front mount turbo. I already found 6.0 engine and 80E tranny. Still search for turbo PT88 or Borg warner S400 or S480. I don't need to hurry up. If ya don't understand clear on my sentences. I try do my best i can. Because I'm hearing impaired(deaf). Thumb up. I'll be posting more images and updates. Here pics.
I been search for different brand name turbo for compare. I think I getting turbo Borg Warner S400SX 80MM T6, 1.10a/r and KB racing's kit.

I decided what i want for 6.0 370ci and will use 317 heads.

- Do need to put new all Hardend push rods, lifters, springs?? what else ?? I try to remember what else.
-High volume oil pump

-4L80E stock-Transgo, Circle D 3200 multi disk or single. I not sure which one.

Great looking truck! If I read correctly, it only has a 2" rear shackle? What size tire?

I talked to Mike Turbo. He would go with a borg warner as they are tougher turbos with more efficient extended tip compressor wheels. S400SX 75mm t6 1.10a/r is $800.00 S400SX 80mm T6 1.10a/r is $950.00. What ur opinion ?? Is T6 will fit in ??

Definitely a nice rig. Damn, thats almost too nice to mod... very clean.

T6 flange? Doesn't KB (forum sponser) already have a T6 configured manifold that will fit? With T6 maybe go with a 4" downpipe in which I think he also offers. There are other configurations that might work well for you considering your application.

Also, if you are going with a 4L80E maybe do a search on a 2004 6L/4L80E configured stock truck tune. Its been a couple of years since I did the 4L80E swap so maybe there is more of a simple way to do it, as it becomes more common to perform, but the 4L80E segment file of the tune needs to be swapped into your exisitng PCM file... on top of adding wiring for the rear speed sensor. Wiring is no big deal. My tuner just started from scratch (in my case) with a stock a 2006 6L/4L80E file. Also, with the kind of power you are considering I would certainly look into an aftermarket differential. Eaton and Auburn are popular. I run an Auburn Pro... others swear by the Eaton. Definitely ask around about that...

And definitely research fuel delivery

SUPER nice truck! Good luck on the build!

Bill

I'd be tossing a TVS blower on that truck since it's already so clean and well maintained.
