2003 GMC 4.8 RCSB turbo/sport truck
#12
Truck is all tuned. Made 480whp and 530ftlbs with a stock 4.8, stock trans, 3.73 gears and on3 turbo kit. 70mm single turbo.
Put 58lb injector clinic injectors in the truck and 340 fuel pump. Very happy so far.

Well took the truck to the track and the 60 was brutal. Truck ran a 2.5 60 and a 13.9@106mph. Really need to improve that 60 time so Im going to put a dry shot of nitrous on tell I get the new trans and converter.

Well went back to the track. Added a dry shot of nitrous about a 50shot. No tuning or anything. Just put a nozzle in the intake tube and let it buck. Did what I wanted which was to get the 60 down. Went from a 2.5 60 to a 2.0 60 spraying from 1500-3500rpm. Set it to turn off when the boost starts to come in. 1/4 time went from a 13.9 to a 12.9 with just the 50shot. That was the only change. Got 1.5 passes and the trans gave up. Still drove the truck home 2 hours after the passes. Lol clutch packs are smoked I believe.
Now time to get a built trans and converter over the winter.
will see the difference the higher stall will make. Going with a 3000 stall.

Heck yeah just get a junkyard 4l80 and a good converter for a much less troubling truck. A 60 will only last a yr in many cases. There are exceptions but generally speaking...

Nice pass, time for an 80, don't waste your money on that 60.
