2001 Sierra LS 6
I hope this is the right catagory Sticky?
I ask everyone to have patience, since I just joined forum,and not that great when it comes to mechanical smarts. My story. Just bought a 2003 C5 LS 6 with 19,000 miles. It came with a FAST intake and rails (#54023). The motor will be going into a 2001 Sierra ecsb 2WD. Has anyone out there done same swap? If so, can you give me any tips that I should be aware of. I want to use as many parts of the original 5.3 as I can. The motor will be upgraded with Comp cam custom grind, ported-polished heads,throttle body,13/4" headers,Magnaflow exhaust, Yank SST3600 stall,reprogram kit,ARP rod-head bolts, etc.Thanks,any replies will be going straight to tech doing changeover.
