Default 2000 RCSB "From the ashes"

I'm off to a new build and this site has been a great resource so thanks to everyone who contributes ideas and life experiences.

This is what happens late at night with Facebook marketplace. Original owner who smoked like a chimney and he set the drivers seat up in flames too.

My goal is 100% done and new paint in time for power tour 2020.

on fire literally.

4.3 to a LQ4 6.0 that I had already. Found a decent bed and realized how shot the cab body mounts are, Got a entire interior from a donor truck that in great shape,

It was a lot harder to find a good bed than I had thought it would be.

Nice project, we have the same truck since you're building a fleetside!

Just one minor observation...

Careful setting tempered glass on it's edge especially on concrete.

Being a retired body/paint guy I've experienced this first hand...
I was installing a door glass and set the window down on the shop floor on it's edge, holding it while opening the door to install. Two seconds later all I had between my fingers was tempered glass crumbs I've seen cinder blocks bounce off tempered door glass without shattering... but the unprotected edge is extremely fragile.

Go to Harbor Freight get some moving blankets... I NEVER set glass on anything that doesnt at least have something soft to protect it.
