So how is this thing running now? Have you gotten all the bugs sorted out?

You bought a Jakes tranny for that thing didn't you? I'm sure you can get some pointers off a few guys here on trans settings. What don't you like about it?

FLT trans not jakes. I bought the FLT instead because Tyler's been running that 4l65 for like 10 yrs from them so I figure any company that can keep a 60/65e together that long should be able to maybe make an 80e pretty tough. And my trans won't hold any gear very long even if manually shifting it won't hold first that long.

It has been a long time since I have messed with much tuning and I'm no expert. But if I remember right you need to change the settings in the cags or something like that. "Computer aided gear shifting". If I remember correctly.

I'll have to look into that then. All i know is I had justune tune it and I tried asking him to get my trans to hold gears longer an it wasn't really successful. And I was asking you about lockup on your 1500hd because mine locks at 45. and it's almost exactly at the same time my truck shifts 3-4 lockup you don't even feel the 3-4 you just feel lockup but we logged trans settings an it does 3-4 shift. And sometimes my converter won't even lock so I feel I need someone else to go through my trans settings. I met a cool Australian guy while flying back from Reno who said he does tuning an would look at my file but I haven't gotten around to emailin him it yet.
