It all adds up. My Honda days I Swiss cheesed the hell out of some of my cars but when it came down to racing stuff allot of people were real surprised what some of my cars would run.

I look at allot of the pre runner guys who build gmt800 Silverados and they all end up in the 5800-6000lb range and usually have like a stock 5.3l in there with some 20 point cage and all the **** you could ever bolt on a truck like 2 full size spares, bed cage..: etc. this truck I’m trying to get as close to 4k lbs on bigger tires as I can. I really love how this truck drives and preforms.

Weight reduction is free horsepower. My next build is a rcsb 2wd 4.8 with a huge nitrous plate and weight reduction. I want 10’s…

when his other teenage-driver and eventually college friends constantly keep asking to borrow his truck... even for legitimate truck things; not just jacking around - he'll wish he'd asked for the third pedal.

"nv3500" and "road racing" should never go into the same train of thought... even with the S10's M50 ratios. their hydraulics & synchros ain't cut out for that kind of hurt.

and i ain't a smart man, but i'm willing to bet some deeper gears will make that 700r4 shift earlier.

ya your probably right about the nv3500, they don’t shift fast at all. And honeslty having the insight there’s no way a gm trans would compare to how that tranny is gonna feel once I put it together. It’s gonna be a close ratio custom gear set made from some oem and an after market first gear and Honda transmissions can be shifted super fast if they are put together properly. The wing isn’t mounted in its final location but you can get the idea. Also doing a fake cf splitter on the car but both the wind and splitter will both be functional for downforce. No joke the aero crap can make a pretty crazy difference especially with how light the car will be.

got some work done on the door this morning but then I went hunting/ fishing/ and mushroom hunting with my father in law. Saw a herd of wild turkeys, had a Turkey tag but they were on the other side of a fence that said no trespassing and no hunting which was a shame lol. Got a **** load of chanterelle’s and lobster mushrooms. This pic shows about 1/4 of the chanterelles we got.

They won't. I haven't had anybody ask to borrow either of my trucks because nobody knows how to drive a larger vehicle. I do get a lot of "Hey can you help me get a couch" or other things like that but I don't mind doing it.
I used to be the driver back in high school. I'd drive anyone's car because none of those dipshits knew how to drive. Think I was the only one to make it out without an accident or a ticket.

Picked up a used set of iron man 37/12.5/17 tires today for $125. Date coded 21 which is way newer than my other tires. They are just backups pretty much, too good of a deal to pass up. Two have pretty good tread and two are cupped on the wear but I’m gonna use a belt sander to re round them lol. The cupped ones weigh 70lbs, the good tread ones are 75. So about the same weight as my current tires. Also plan on installing the 5.13’s fairly soon but I have to deal with an eviction first and get that unit rerented .

also decided today I’m gonna put some love into my 06 z71, $90 Chinese stage 2 low lift cam, 1.75” lt headers and a doorman intake manifold. It needs valve stem seals cause the l33 is high mileage and will puff some smoke on startup after she’s been worked hard.

alos have some more weight reduction planned for the pre runner truck. Gonna cut the mounts off for the stock cross member that I took off as well as the metal parts on the mounts where it bolts too. I’ll do some trimming when I got it on the lift wherever I can.

got my drivers side extended cab door mostly done. Think this is about as light as I’ll be able to get it. Laid sound deadening in there and tucked wiring under it for the 4x6 speaker. I have some really nice cf wrap that will be put on the outside and then I’ll paint the back of the lexan and install it. I think the cf extended cab doors will look cool on the truck.

gonna wrap the door today, my buddy Cordell is gonna do it for me cause both my hands are just destroyed from working on stuff and he’s good with wraps. Also I put the s10 on my dyno finally, idk why it took me so long. First pull made 300/329 second pull had some knock retard after 5k and made 289/341 torque. I definitely think I’m gonna put a cam in it after I can my l33 in my 06 truck. Also picked up a red blue pcm from pick a part for my kids truck for $40. Might as well snag them when they are cheap.
Stock 250k mile 5.3l, nnbs intake manifold, shorty swap s10 headers with 1 5/8 primarys and a single 3” exhaust to 2015 camaro zl1 muffler. Stock Tahoe airbox cut in the front with k&n drop in filter.

Gashed this thing at pick a part on a mls exhaust gasket. Didn’t even feel it just started leaking like a faucet.

My buddy gave me these for free to clear out space. They need tires but will be going on my s10 and I’ll give my kid my zq8 wheels for his truck. Win win I think cause I’ll be able to run a much better tire selection with 17’s. Ordered spacers for them 2.5” front and 3” rear. Also have a limited slip that needs to go in the s10 but I gotta do the pre runner rear end first and feel confident about it.

Well I haven’t posted in here for a while. Some crazy **** went down last year and I spent like 3 months in the hospital. They originally thought I had a brain tumor but ended up being an ectopic endocrine tumor on my lung which caused something called Cushing’s syndrome where my cortisol levels were about 40x the normal range. Had a heart attack from it back in December and had surgery in March to have the tumor removed. Since then things have been great but when I first got out of the hospital I wasn’t strong enough to lift my garage door or get up off the floor.

anyways finally redid the gears on my truck after I ran the first set low on oil. They never broke but got noisy. On removal I found there was 75 thou of backlash from the wear. I put 5.13 Yukons in it and I’m happy with the setup. Still breaking them in then gotta change the fluid at 500 miles.

also wired up a foot mounded high beam switch I got off eBay out of a 68 Chrysler for my light bar and front lights. I think it will be really nice having them on that because it’s like daylight mode with those on and the foot switch make it so easy to click on and off.

I also ended up putting 4” lift knuckles on the front but they totally fucked up the steering angles for the tie rod ends so I went back to the 3” lift knuckles. I’d still like to do the 3/4” heims on it but I need to do a few things to make that setup work first with the knuckles off the truck.
