Plan is to hunt down A set of this for all four corners.

C4 Corvette wheels.

The plan is for custom wheel adaptors, I like these wheels because they will hide the smallish brake allready on the truck.

Had to R&R the fuel pump Friday night. Replaced the fuel filter while I was at it. I have a little electrical problem on the Suburban that i need to fix. The plan is to have it back on the road by this weekend. Then the truck will be rolled into the back yard for some moding.

Remove Bed, rearend, springs.
Grind all the rust off the frame and paint.
Grind all the rust off the rearend and paint.
Take springs apart grind all the rust off paint.
Put spring back together without overload spring(-1inch)
install new true lock posi in rearend.
reinstall springs with drop shackles(-2 inch)
reinstall rearend.
Install new brakes.
reinstall bed.
Install drop key infront(-2 -3 inches)
install line lock for front brakes.

I ended up with a complete new(to me) rearend houseing. My axel was way to rusted to reuse. So new true trak installed with stock gears for know until i can figure out how to remove all the 4wd drive stuff.

It's all back together with drum brakes and autozone shocks. I had the springs rebuilt with out the overload spring, the guy at the spring shop talked me into adding a short leaf to help the spring from going flat. I think this was a mistake. with the 2 inch drop shakle i'm only about 1-2 inch lower. i was hoping for 3 inches. i also installed the rear end with a u-bolt flip kit from off-road design. I suggest this for anyone with an older truck in snow country. my bolts looked just like the ones on the webpage.

Need to bleed the brake again and check all the bolts and nuts one more time then she will be on the road again. just need a weekend without rain.

Finally got the truck to the track today. Sorry no Pics.

Went to barona drag strip(1/8 mile) for the last Renegade bracket series race and entered the NO-E bracket. Truck ran great, all passes between 10.89 to 10.94. I was playing around with the staging alot to find a good reaction time. The reactions times are bad with a best of .146. The 32" tires are really hurting me. The truck was hooking good tho. Transmission will need some attention soon also. I just left it in D for each pass.

To do list.
Make a hand brake
Install line lock
New tires. need 27" for the front and 30" out back.
rebuild and lower the front end.
Transmission rebuild.
