Fresh calypso green on a notch is killer. Its my favorite color on the fox body cars. I'd also keep it an 8.8 as they can be built to handle very serious power pretty cheap.

I have seen one notch that i like thats currently calypso green but i belive its just because of the rims that are on it.... I think i made a mistake keeping the 10 bolt in my chevy because weight of the truck, but you think this 8.8 built will take some real abuse im going to put it through? Im about to dive off into some researching this week to get more info on the 8.8 but if you know some proven scenerios off hand id love for you to share them holding 1000 hp plus!

Ima picture ***** a little bit to show yall what im starting with.... got it off the trailer with no brakes or steering by myself lol, cleaned up good though and body is pretty straight along with the interior besides where the shifter goes the previous guy raped the floor board trying to put a shifter in. Interior needs to be deep cleaned, i bet i vaccumed around 50 dead wasp out along with yellow jackets and you name it. I was completely shocked on how good the condition of the headliner was considering the age of the car and where it come from. Started peeling two layers of tint off each window that had to be from 1992 cause that crap will NOT come off easy lol

Here are a couple good threads about an 8.8.

Can't have the project on jack stands be dirty? Looks like a 9 second car to me! Or are you shooting for 6s with this one?

Maybe I forget but this is the wife's car correct? Does that mean it will be slower then the truck or you still plan to make it killer fast?

I try to keep everything clean.... if its dirty i have no motivation (OCD i guess) I was originally gonna do it for the wife but im currently swapping the gears out on the truck along with a smaller tune so the old lady can start driving it! Ive thought about selling or parting it out 1000 times but ive got way to much time invested in it...Overall plan should be quite faster than the truck, might just slap a little turbo on it too!

It looks solid but look closely at the portion under where the factory battery sits as it is prone to rust if it ever had a battery leak.
