Ended up getting a second LMG 5.3 with 799 heads today. Customer had collapsed lifter and bought a LKQ. Kinda debating on dod/vvt delete like my current one or build the bottom end of this one for when the first one lets go

Turns out the clamshell mounts I got were for 1st gen Camaro and Novas and wouldn't work

The clamshell mounts still had a hump in them and wouldn't sit flush against the Ls adapter mounts. Little heat and hammer to flatten them out
