so I got aftermarket blacked housing for my truck a few months ago light output didn't improve much over stock. so after debating on it for a while and missing the projector headlights on my bmw I decided to do something about it. I personally find the projector housings on ebay gross. I picked up an aftermarket projector retrofit kit and decided to play with my old headlight housings. so far here are the results. im currently using the stock housings to ensure everything will fit and have no issues, once im happy ill tear down the aftermarket housings I have and swap everything over and black the insides out.

Did you go with TRS for the projectors?

They always have the best stuff. I did a retro fit on my old car a few years ago with their stuff.

Im glad to see you going the retrofit route! I plan on doing this as well. I have all the parts and have started, just need time. Keep us updated on the progress and results.

What projectors did you go with? Looks like the Mini D2S 3.0?

They are the mini d2s with the square lense. Was worried about room but they fit pretty well
