Default 02' Denali RCSB 6.0 AWD Build

Sup ya'll, my main daily driver build is on pause until I can afford all the sc parts, we started another project in the meanwhile.

As you read in the title, we started working on a rcsb denali 6.0 awd truck build.

Here's what we're starting out with:

That chassis comes from an older 2x4 rcsb build we did, so we're recycling a bit.

This is our donor yukonxl which will donate its front end, front chassis, engine, parts from its interior and probably more:

Seeing how we're doing an awd build, we had to take the front end chassis of the yukon and put it on our rcsb.

So we start with this as a front end:

But we want this:

To seperate the front end chassis, you gotta grind away the welds holding it in place:

Seperated and ready for the awd chassis:

Gotta grind and clean up all the welds for the front end that slides in.

Once in place, check if fully aligned with the holes, and then weld. ez-pz:

Chassis had some rust, we cleaned it best we could.

We also put the rear bumper on, just had to change the brackets, we'll have to modify the plastics later to fit the bed.

Then drop the 6.0 from the yukon denali, and put the cab on:

Which we already put the denali doors on, as well as bunch of interior stuff.

and that's all we got done for now, now we're waiting to take apart another silverado that has one of the wire harness we need, we also need a bed. Other than that, we're pretty far along.

We might use this turbo kit we have lying around, or we're going go cammed n/a. We haven't discussed it much yet.

We have some other things to clear up in the shop first, so I'll be posting more progress once there is any, shouldn't be more than a few weeks from now.

If ya have any thoughts, opinions or questions, feel free to share!
