01 sierra turbo build! new frame
#141
Little update. The truck is now at my buddys house getting the last things done. Were runing the fuel lines, brake lines and basicly getting the truck back together. So far we have mounted the rotors, calipers, line lock and proportioning valve. All the wiring is ran, fuel rails installed.

More progress!! Front end is on, brakes are done, fuel lines are done, and we mounted the regulator. I also made a bracket for the trottle cable and put in the shifter cable as well. I thought the fuel lines were going to be a pain to install but they were actually pretty simple. My fuel cell should be done tomorrow. We ended up making it into a sump style tank. There was a guy that came by the shop and said my truck was not going to run with the factory torque converter. He said it would Idle but would die when I put it in gear?? Is this true or is he full of it. I do plan on getting a circle d converter soon but I was hoping to be able to use the factory one for now. Any way here are some pics.

I bought a fuel line kit from a sponsor on tech and thats the way the fittings were labeled.
This is the order in which it was to be installed.
Pump, filter, rear of driver side fuel rail, crossover to passenger rail, out of rear pass rail to regulator and then back to the tank.
It worked out pretty good since the intake is so close to the body.

Not that I remember. I'll be happy with what ever I can make, 700 maybe 800hp would be nice. Is there something wrong with the way its set up? How are most fuel lines set up?

Nothing wrong with it, I was thinking about doing something similiar becuase it looks cleaner. I have a PRO-Flow XT as well and I have the feed Y-ed into the back of each rail. Then the front of each rail loops back under the intake and into each side of the FPR and then back to the tank. It's just alot of fuel lines imo and wanted to switch it to something simpler.
However, I always figured that this set-up would cause a pressure difference #7 and #8 cylinder. Although I have absolutely no idea if that's true.

Just went over my pms and what i have is the stage 3 street kit minus the braided fuel line from nasty n8 over on tech. Its rated at 1000+ hp. Running it this way will definetly clean up the fuel lines for sure. You really cant tell by the crappy pics but its a really clean and simple set up.
