Hi!! I’ve got a 2007 F350 6.0 with about 185,000 km on it. It was recently deleted, has an upgraded oil cooler, straight pipe, and a few other upgrades. The only thing that hasn’t been done yet is head studs.
I’m thinking about running an H&S Mini Maxx 6.0 Powerstroke tuner mainly for the tow tune (around 50hp) to hopefully gain a bit of fuel economy. I’ve been told that level of tuning should be safe for the truck, but I wanted to get some opinions first.
Do you think running an H&S Mini Maxx 6.0 Powerstroke on the tow tune could cause the head gaskets to fail sooner without studs?
Any advice or experiences would be appreciated. Thanks!
